Summary
Regal Boats is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our team as a Fiberglass Finisher. Responsibilities include inspecting fiberglass parts for Cosmetic issues, sanding, repairing, gel-coating and buffing to a final finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspects fiberglass parts for cosmetic issues in gel finish.
  • Repairs voids, cracks, scratches, and chips in gel-coat surface.

  4. Apply bonding and structural stiffening materials according to blueprints and work instructions.

Summary

Regal Boats is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cut & Grind Specialist. The Cut & Grind Specialist is responsible for using various tools to grind rough edges of boat hull molds and fiberglass parts, as well as cutting holes into the boat hull for installing instruments and hardware. This position requires working closely with a team in a bay while adhering to strict PPE guidelines.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Grind all de-molded parts properly (hulls, decks, small parts).
  • Collaborate with team members to lift and move deck parts to the cut & grind area.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Follow instructions from the Leader/Supervisor/Lead.
  • Inspect all parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Comply with all OSHA and safety procedures.
  • Wear a respirator, goggles, and hearing protection as required.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in working with fiberglass, cabinetry building, or auto body repair.
  • Proficiency in using tools such as grinders, sanders, hole saws, jig saws, diamond cutters, scrapers, and similar tools.
  • Must pass a spirometry test.

        KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

        1. Review, process, and track all incoming DMRs and warranty claims for accuracy and completeness.
        2. Coordinate with dealers and Regal departments (Engineering, Quality, Production, Purchasing, etc.) to ensure timely resolution of product issues.
        3. Maintain accurate records of claims, correspondence, and parts returns in the company’s warranty management system.
        4. Prepare reports on claim trends, failure analysis, and dealer performance metrics.

        Required Qualifications

        Summary
        Regal Boats is seeking a motivated self-starter with a great attitude and experience in welding to join our team.  As part of the maintenance team, the Welder is responsible for all fabrication and repairs using various welding techniques.

        Key Responsibilities

        2. Operate welding equipment according to job guidelines and verify work to print(s).
        3. Perform basic weld inspection and complete required paperwork in a timely manner.

        5. Report supply needs, equipment breakdowns, shortages, and poor-quality materials to supervisor or lead.
        6. Weld metal parts together using both gas welding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes.
        7. Perform related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding.
        8. Repair broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increases size of metal parts.
        9. Position and clamp together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.
        10. Locates and repairs cracks in industrial engine cylinder heads.

        13. Read and complete process sheets.

        Required Qualifications

        1. Ability to operate air tools such as screw guns, drills, sanders, and grinders
        2. Ability to operate chop saws and band saws
        3. Must have flexibility in the daily schedule
        4. Must be able to finish work with the given deadlines
        5. Experienced and proficient GMAW/GTAW Welder with a minimum of 2 years of welding experience

        Preferred Qualifications

        1. Knowledge of fabrication parts.
        2. Aluminum GMAW & GTAW experience preferred

        1. Systems Design & Integration
          1. Tactical owner of systems design for Regal Boats.
          2. Develop and integrate navigation, plumbing, water, waste, fuel, HVAC, and control systems.
          3. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering teams to ensure efficient system layouts.
          4. Optimize system placement and weight distribution to enhance performance, efficiency, and serviceability.
          5. Work closely with vendors to select, test, and validate components for production.
          6. Assist in the integration of marine electronics, lighting, and onboard automation.
        2. Compliance & Testing
          1. Ensure designs meet ABYC, NMMA, USCG, ISO, and CE requirements.
          2. Conduct DFMEA, risk assessments, and system validation testing.
          3. Validate all new models for performance and reliability through prototype testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
          4. Support on-water testing, system calibration, and diagnostics.
        3. Collaboration & Project Management
          1. Work with design, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure smooth product launches.
          2. Assist in supplier coordination, cost analysis, and component selection.
          3. Develop and maintain technical documentation, system manuals, and installation guides.
          4. Ensure vendors conduct training and perform Certificates of Inspection (COIs) as needed.
          5. Represent Regal in a professional, ethical, and socially responsible manner.

        Required Qualifications

        1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
        2. Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Rhino- preferred, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Catia, Pro-E, or AutoCAD).
        3. Knowledge of marine propulsion, fuel systems, electrical networks, and onboard systems.
        4. Strong understanding of ABYC, USCG, and NMMA regulations.
        5. Experience with systems troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and failure mode testing.
        6. Conversational English.

        Preferred Qualifications

        1. Experience in common platform engineering for multi-model product lines.
        2. 3+ years of experience in marine systems engineering, preferably in boat building or OEM manufacturing.
        3. Experience with diagnostics, repair, and integration of Volvo, Yamaha, and Mercury propulsion systems
        4. Boat experience (20’ - 50’).
        5. Hands-on experience with on-water testing, including Ocean Testing, Performance Testing, Component Sea trials (Gyroscopes, Windlass, Thrusters, etc.)
        6. Experience with testing software and data collection software (Dewesoft - preferred)
        7. System calibration and diagnostics expertise.
        8. Professional memberships in industry organizations such as ABYC.
        9. Strong problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
        10. Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently or within a team.
